Last Treasure~ ready for church

Grateful for Sundays and feeling, renewing and edifying my spirit. Especially fast Sundays. I will miss Duncan ward and the wonderful charity, grace and goodness here.

Last Treasure~ Ferris Grill

Best ever veggie burger. It's so yummy (besides treehouse cafe on salt spring) and encrusted with sunflower seeds. Upstairs is a different menu. We had the Victoria team business dinner. It was a lovely dinner out!

I am grateful for this day even if it comes to a close and won't stay because I feel blessed by a beautiful world!

Last treasure ~ Brady sandwich

In our family since the first boy to the last girl we (Ger & I) would wrap our arms around a child and make a sandwich. Our children crave a sandwich and usually when Ger and I are hugging someone would squeeze themselves between us for a sandwich. When someone is having a bad day we call a sandwich and we wrap our arms around them and don't release until they melt and feel loved and secure. Sometimes we have a double, triple or even a club sandwich. I hope they carry on the tradition.

Last Treasure~ True Grain Mill

Love this little Cowichan and Mill bay bakery. My favorite is the Copenhagen swirl or their dark chocolate roasted almond spelt cookies!!! Will miss getting our monthly staff treats there when we move. It's such a quaint lil store in Cow Bay

Almost 8 years Gerry has been serving as a volunteer fireman. Rushing out of the house, outing or church for a notice from his pager to respond to a need in the Cowichan valley. He's our Hero.

Seminary 2012/2013

Here are the early morning champions!
Seminary began this week. We have 3 boys enrolled and things are slowly rolling into a groove~ slowly!!!! But I love when the boys come home from 6:39am early morning seminary before they head out for school. They are so calm, cheerful and happy. It's a great blessing in our lives!
