I am going to miss this face

I don't know how I'll do it.

You push for this moment and in the final days your heart swells as you help them to fly. As that exact moment when they depart from your presence but NEVER from your heart, it's like a snap of an elastic on your tender motherly heart~ I am going to dearly miss this boy/man! But I know it's the absolute right next stage if life for him.

He's always been cut from the same cloth as I. We never had to work at our relationship (except during the teen years, but I new he'd come back) I have loved his tender, sensitive loving, humorous side. He would talk to me about everything and trust my judgements.
I know I have to be the strong one because it's gong to be even harder for him. We are both excited and know its a great part of his future to serve a mission. I sure have loved the past 6mths of Monday's where we get to play.

A marvelous work and wonder

A common occurrence and phenomena of how the TP gets to the toilet paper holder but not on.

A peak at our week (ha that rhymed)

We chased rainbows, we drove our jeep one last time, we vowed to eat healthier, we worked and played and talked about service.

These are a few of my favorite things.

I try so hard to have neutral palette in my home decor and add a bit of color here or there. But, Actually I LOVE color. I LOVE my fiesta ware , its full of color. I love my lime green towels and I love my throw cushions. If I had to choose one of my favorite colors I couldn't. I do lean towards greens but as a child rainbows were my absolute favorite. I had rainbow wall paper and a rainbow quilt and drew rainbows all the time. My tastes have matured. But I can't deny our lives without color. I love and try to achieve a neutral look for our home. I really do try. But I love to add a little fun to our home. So we have colored gum balls in a jar and painted colored signs and beautiful fiesta ware we use everyday for good. Since everyday is a good day and deserves the best! I just love to color my world.

Clara is getting so good at working a hot glue gun. Here is her gingerbread man project ,all ready for school tomorrow. "run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man"

We finally have a rare but cherished SNOW day

Always love when the world stops and we can have a forced home day. Stocked up on groceries and a pile of projects. Bring on the SNOW!

Saturday morning tickle/wrestle fight

Okay hopefully you understand that boys need to be physical and need that contact with their dads. Our boys have always loved their tickle/wrestling with their dad since they were so little. I just love that they still want to jump into ma/pa's bed and tickle and cuddle. I love my family.
